Headquartered in Geneva, Xcert AI is developing digital platform powered by artificial intelligence to automate certification and compliance in the aerospace industry. The company has closed CHF 1.1 million in its first funding round with Spicehaus Partners. The capital will support further product development.

Founded in 2024 by Marc‑Elian Bégin (CEO) and Lawrence Blakeley (Board Chair), Xcert AI is a digital platform designed to automate certification and compliance processes for the aerospace industry, helping companies, system integrators, and regulators streamline complex workflows related to requirements, documentation, planning, and test procedures. To this end, up to half of the total development time and cost for aircraft and spacecraft are consumed by certification and compliance activities. Powered by artificial Intelligence, the new Xcert AI platform aims to significantly help cut these costs while reducing manual effort, minimizing human error, accelerating time-to-market, and improving the management of highly regulated aerospace projects.

Xcert AI has already secured strong traction with a small number of key customers within the aerospace ecosystem. These engagements are strategically targeted to ensure customer feedback is directly integrated into the platform, supporting a well‑adopted first major release expected in December 2025. This early traction validates the company’s ability to address real‑world certification challenges and highlights growing industry confidence in its approach.

With a team of 12 employees with combined deep expertise in AI, software, and aerospace systems engineering, the company is well positioned to meet the rigorous demands of aerospace regulation.

Using the CHF 1.1 million funding from Spicehause Partners, Xcert AI plans to advance its product and deliver on its vision of making AI certification practical and scalable for aerospace.

“We are grateful to Spicehaus Partners for their support, which enables us to accelerate development and strengthen our position in this critical industry,” said Marc‑Elian Bégin, Co-Founder and CEO of Xcert AI.
“We are excited to conclude this funding round with Xcert AI. Marc‑Elian and his team are addressing one of the most important challenges in aerospace today: certifying AI systems with the rigor required by the industry. Their platform is well positioned to become a key enabler of AI adoption in safety‑critical environments,” said Daniel Andres, Founding Partner at Spicehaus Partners.
